Along with photography, a lot of my customers know I am also really passionate about nature and wildlife. Would you be suprised if I said Sunday’s photo of the magnificent Blue Shark would actually belong in the “British Wildlife” folder? I’ve never dived with Blue sharks before but as they frequent Cornish waters in the summer, I have been wanting to do this for years now. Failing several time due to weather and currents I finally made it out and not one but FIVE turned up, including a baby! This experience, I’ll cherish even more knowing full well unless fishing laws and the “beyond evil” sharkfin soup industry change they’ll soon be gone forever.
Juvenile Blue was the most inquizitive of the bunch
This would not be the first shark I’ve photographed or have seen with a fishing line attached! Grrrrr
