I quite often post wedding photographs that are from the “styled” or “directed” part of the day. This normally accounts for about 30% of the photos taken on the day. The rest is all reportage (or as I call it: People watching photography). Todays wedding offered so many characters and I ended up shooting a lot through the long lens, looking and waiting for expressions, reactions and happiness. And it all starts off with possibly one of my favourite groom shots of all time (purely for its honesty and summing up the way we all felt in todays humidity). The black and white collection below is completely natural with no posing or direction.
